Our Story

We exist because we witnessed too many brilliant broadcasters struggle silently through career transitions that should have been triumphs.

The Gap We Fill

The broadcasting industry prepares personalities remarkably well for on-camera success. Studio timing, audience connection, interview techniques—these skills become second nature. What the industry doesn't prepare anyone for is the day those skills must translate into entirely new contexts.

Former colleagues reach retirement or career pivots without roadmaps. Networks rarely provide transition support beyond severance packages. The psychological shift from public figure to private citizen receives even less attention than the practical career concerns.

How We Came Together

Our founding team includes former broadcast producers, career counselors who specialized in high-profile transitions, and three former television hosts who navigated their own post-broadcasting journeys. We understand both sides: the industry that shapes these careers and the personal experience of leaving it behind.

Over the past eight years, we've refined our approach through direct work with over two hundred media professionals. Each person's transition taught us something new about what works, what fails, and what makes the difference between merely surviving career change and genuinely thriving afterward.

"What sets this team apart is their refusal to treat broadcasting careers as interchangeable with any other profession. They understand the specific identity challenges, the public-to-private shift, and the unique assets we bring to new ventures."

— David Kowalski, Former Sports Broadcaster (2001-2019)

Our Approach

We don't believe in cookie-cutter transition plans. A daytime talk show host faces different challenges than a news anchor. Someone leaving broadcasting at forty-two has different needs than someone retiring at sixty-five. Our process begins with understanding your specific situation, not applying generic frameworks.

Every service we offer emerged from real needs we encountered. The memoir support came after watching talented storytellers struggle with publishers who didn't understand broadcasting careers. The personal branding workshop developed because we kept seeing former hosts inadvertently box themselves into narrow niches when they possessed much broader capabilities.

What Guides Our Work

We operate from three core beliefs developed through years of direct experience:

First, broadcasting careers build extraordinary skills that translate powerfully into diverse fields—but that translation requires intentional strategy, not hope.

Second, the psychological aspects of leaving public-facing careers demand as much attention as the practical career planning. Identity shifts are real and deserve professional support.

Third, former media personalities often undervalue their capabilities while simultaneously misunderstanding which of their skills actually interest employers or clients. Accurate self-assessment combined with market reality creates successful transitions.
